I was so bored I started a blog

So I'm in Radford, VA coaching the WVU Tech programming team and I get bored because I have to wait 5 hours for the competition to finish and I get bored and I create a blog. I may live to regret this, but as it seems to have become the standard way of communicating with everyone you know without talking to them individually or constantly sending them email, I figured what the hey. I encourage anyone who is reading this to subscribe to my philosophy of low expectations, at least when it comes to my upkeep of this blog. I need only mention my 5 year wildpalms.org "project" that amounted to an overpriced email address (which has now been thankfully put out of its misery) as evidence that the success of my online adventures has been meager. Then again, I was a co-founder of Flak Magazine which is still running strong (though the credit for that goes to Jim and Eric and all those good people who actually write submissions more than once a year). So I guess I'm pretty good at starting things, but not so good at keeping them up. So with any luck, at some point I'll get bored again and write another post. The teams got 82nd and 91st place, by the way.
